'Almost Midnight' in JB's @ The Limetree Festival

Almost Midnight are an energetic 4 piece funk/rock/pop band based in Aylesbury, Bucks, UK . Winners of the battle of the bands at the UK music pub of the year, and UK finalists in the Global Battle of the Bands they released their debut album, “Hate Mondays” on 6th February 2011. Front man, lead vocalist and bassist Charlie Wood writes funky and catchy songs about life, with a serious side and sense of humour. Joining him are Felix on keyboards, Dale on drums, and Seb on guitar. The music always has a driving live feel, everything is recorded together and you never hear a fade out on an Almost Midnight record. The band have been played on BBC and local Radio and are currently working on their 2nd Album and gigging.

Influences include 70’s disco, Queen, Michael Jackson, Van Halen, Stevie Wonder, Neville Brothers, the Beatles, Latin and Folk music.
